Col. Elizabeth Erickson, Director, Center for Global Health Engagement, and Dr. Jeffrey Freeman, Director, National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH), at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USU), visited the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies Center (DKI APCSS), Honolulu, Hawaii, July 18, 2025. Col. Erickson and Dr. Freeman provided an overview and updates on the Center for Global Health Engagement and the NCDMPH to DKI APCSS staff. DKI APCSS is a U.S. Department of Defense institute that addresses regional and global security issues, inviting military and civilian representatives of the United States and Indo-Pacific nations to its comprehensive program of executive education and workshops, both in Hawaii and throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
