PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (July 11, 2025) - Alika Minami, from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Port Operations, watches as the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) shifts piers while in port to undergo maintenance from Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility before departing for Pacific Partnership 25, July 11, 2025. Now in its 21st iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security and stability in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific. PHNSY & IMF’s mission is to keep the Navy’s fleet “Fit to Fight" by repairing, maintaining, and modernizing the Navy's fast-attack submarines and surface ships. Strategically located in the heart of the Pacific, it is the most comprehensive fleet repair and maintenance facility between the U.S. West Coast and the Far East. (U.S. Navy photo by Mike Wilson)
