ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 17, 2025) – Cargo handlers assigned to Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) guide a vertical launch system (VLS) canister into the missile deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) during an expeditionary rearmament evolution with USNS Gopher State (T-ACS 4). The operation, part of Large Scale Global Exercise 2025, demonstrates the Navy’s ability to conduct underway VLS reloads and sustain combat readiness at sea.
