YIGO, Guam (July 17, 2025) - Guam municipal leaders and staff honor the victims of the World War II-era Chagui’an massacre during a memorial ceremony in Yigo, July 17. The ceremony was one of several Liberation Month memorial ceremonies being held across Guam until July 21, which was the day the island of Guam was liberated from Japanese occupation 81 years ago.
