A U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft is on final approach as Airmen assigned to the 436th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron perform quality control checks on Mission Oriented Protective Posture gear at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, July 16, 2025. This training, in support of the Air Force’s 2025 Department-Level Exercise series, focused on large-scale operations in the Indo-Pacific theater, providing Airmen with an opportunity to practice and improve operational proficiency for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive situations. The DLE series encompasses all branches of the Department of Defense, along with Allies and partners, employing more than 400 Joint and coalition aircraft and more than 12,000 members at more than 50 locations across 3,000 miles.
