MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands (July 11, 2025) - U.S Navy Rear Adm. Josh Lasky, commander, Joint Task Force-Micronesia; and U.S. Army Col. Matthew Cannon, commander, U.S. Army Garrison Kwajalein Atoll, meet with representatives of the Republic of the Marshall Islands Office of National Security, Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority, Sea Patrol, National Police, National Disaster Management Organization, and National Telecommunications Authority in Majuro, July 11. During the meeting, Lasky and Cannon discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation, and improve communication and partnership. Joint Task Force-Micronesia serves as the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command senior military official for Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Wake Island.
