A UH-60 Black Hawk assigned to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, hovers above Mott Lake during the helocast event during the Army Best Squad Competition at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, Oct. 4, 2024. The 9-day competition will assess each squad on their technical and tactical proficiency, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team. The competition features a multitude of different fitness and combat related events ranging from the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment and various weapons lanes, to a strenuous 12-mile foot march and detailed individual warrior tasks and squad battle drills.
