U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Donya Grady, a satellite transmissions system operator, sets up a multi-mission terminal (MMT) during a command post exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 10, 2025. The MMT is a rapidly deployable, software-defined system that provides broadband connectivity across multiple satellite networks, enabling secure communications in support of expeditionary operations. The CPX allowed the 15th MEU to implement command and control equipment from a shore-based site by testing systems, evaluating processes and validating standard operation procedures for future operations.
