Dewatering operations beneath I-10 at West Shore Lake Pontchartrain (WSLP) contract 106 are complete, and excavation is currently underway inside the Temporary Retaining Structure (TRS) as part of preparations for the floodwall crossing. Simultaneously, the contractor is performing grouting of the interlocks on the TRS pipe piles under I-10 to enhance structural integrity and minimize water infiltration. Once excavation inside the TRS is complete, work will progress to the next phase of floodwall construction
