Staff Sgt. Randy Burlingame, 104th Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, explains the roles and capabilities of the 104FW's EOD team to KDF leaders Maj. Peter Etyang, Air Traffic Controller, Capt. Albert Ang’asa, F5 Maintenance Technician, and Capt. Emmanuel Irungu, F5 Fighter Pilot, during a base visit, July 8, 2025, at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Mass.
From July 8-10, KDF leaders spoke with 104FW Airmen and visited multiple squadrons during their combat aviation visit to share best practices, rapid response capability, flight safety, and fixed wing maintenance support group operations. Military-to-military engagements provide unique opportunities to strengthen personal relationships with our State Partners, and provide an opportunity to deepen interoperability and support defense security goals.
