A wreath is placed and displayed in honor of U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Benjamin Desilets during a wreath laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial during Marine Week Chicago, July 12, 2025. Desilets paid the ultimate sacrifice on May 22, 2007, while conducting combat operations in Anbar Province in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
