Lomelly Mauva, a scout with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment, 81st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Washington Army National Guard, used a Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3) during Exercise Raven Focus 2025 at Yakima Training Center, Wash., on July 13, 2025. The system, mounted on a Stryker reconnaissance vehicle, enabled scouts to locate targets up to 12.4 miles away, enhancing intelligence-gathering capabilities on enemy combatant locations.
