U.S. Airmen from Dyess Air Force Base prepare to load cargo onto a C-130J Super Hercules before a Max Endurance Operation in support of the 2025 Department-Level Exercise series at Dyess AFB, Texas, July 8, 2025. The 317th Airlift Wing demonstrated their and Air Mobility Command ability to rapidly deploy into the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility by utilizing multiple aircraft configured with external fuel tanks. The DLE series encompasses all branches of the Department of Defense, along with Allies and partners, employing more than 400 Joint and coalition aircraft and more than 12,000 members at more than 50 locations across 3,000 miles.
