MacQuise Simpson, a structural maintenance engineer, both assigned to the 567th Red Horse Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, excavate soil for the foundation of a tiny home at Puʻuhonua o Waiʻanae, an affordable housing site, during Innovation Readiness Training (IRT) in Waiʻanae, Hawaii, July 9, 2025. These Department of Defense military training programs are conducted exclusively throughout the United States and its territories.
