The crew of USCGC Hamilton interdicted a narcotics smuggling vessel while deployed in support of U.S. Southern Command’s Joint Interagency Task Force – South and Coast Guard District 11 on June 27, 2025. Hamilton’s crew, which includes embarked personnel from Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron (HITRON) and Tactical Law Enforcement Team (TACLET) South, seized an estimated 1,975kg of illicit narcotics.
