Sailors assigned to the Navy Parachute Team "Leap Frogs," meet Edward P. Kruse, a retired master chief parachute rigger, during a ceremony honoring his achievements as one of the first members of the Navy's first parachute exhibition team, the "Chuting Stars." The ceremony took place at an air show in Duluth International Airport, July 5, 2025, during Duluth Navy Week. Duluth Navy Week is one of 15 Navy Weeks during the Navy’s 250th year celebration, bringing a variety of assets, equipment and personnel to a single city for a weeklong series of engagements designed to bring America’s Navy closer to the people it protects. Each year, the program reaches more than 140 million people - about half the U.S. population. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Theoplis Stewart II)
