Local personality Henry Rollins, center, presented Navy Chief Petty Officer James P. Moran, right, with the United Service Organizations' 2005 Sailor of the Year award during the annual USO gala in Washington on Sept. 14. Moran was chosen based on his courage under fire and his leadership in Fallujah, Iraq. Rollins is a singer, songwriter, storyteller, author, actor and poet. He has most recently been seen in the 2005 film "The Alibi." Television personality Deborah Norville served as master of ceremonies for the evening.
