During his speech at a memorial service in Washington for the victims of Saddam Hussein's regime Aug. 2, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz said he witnessed many of the "painful reminders" of that regime on his recent trip to Iraq. Wolfowitz spoke of atrocities such as the mass graves and suffering of the "Marsh Arabs."
