Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates receives a tour of the King Hussein bin Talal Mosque in Amman, Jordan, April 16, 2007. The mosque, which opened last year, is named for His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, the father of modern Jordan. Kin Hussein bin Talal was said to be a leader who guided his country through strife and turmoil to become an oasis of peace, stability and moderation in the Middle East.
