Members from the 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron help other Joint Base Charleston Airmen prepare for their roles as “extras” as they strap them into position on a C-17 Globemaster III before shooting a scene for Army Wives April 23, 2013, at Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, S.C. Airmen from JB Charleston – Air Base helped provide the realism of the scene. Army Wives tells the story of four women and one man who are brought together by their common bond - they all have military spouses. The series is based on the book "Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives" by Tanya Biank and is produced by ABC Television Studio and The Mark Gordon Company.
