Caroline Tardy, a vocalist with the 313th Army Band, sings God Bless America while performing with the 100th Army Band, during a concert for the local Morganton community at the City of Morganton Municipal Auditorium, Morganton, North Carolina, June 28, 2025. Army bands play a vital role in connecting the Army with the American public, and a significant portion of this connection comes through their participation in community service and outreach activities. The 100th Army Band is a United States Army Reserve band from Fort Knox, Kentucky. Music has been a critical part of the Army's success. Whether it's a ceremonial performance or a concert to boost the morale of Soldiers, U.S. Army Band members serve their country while making music. The 100th Army Band is a musical organization of the 81st Readiness Division. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. 1st Class Rodney Roldan).
