Members of the U.S. Special Operations Command Para-Commandos (SOCOM) prepare for a high-altitude, low-opening (HALO) jump from more than 4,000 feet above Weyand Field, July 3, 2025. The Para-Commandos executed the HALO jump as part of a demonstration showcasing elite airborne capabilities, exiting the aircraft at high altitude and deploying parachutes at low elevation to minimize detection and maximize mission effectiveness.
