Frank Woodruff Buckles as featured in photographer David DeJonge's American Survivors of World War I portrait exhibit. DeJonge donated the exhibit, which features nine American World War I veterans, to the Pentagon. Buckles, who is 107 and attended the March 6 unveiling ceremony at the Pentagon, is one of two of the featured veterans who is still living.
