Jay Parsons, a platoon leader assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, attached to the 1st Infantry Division’s 4th Brigade Combat Team in Multinational Division Baghdad, inspects a broken main spewing water into in the southern Baghdad community of Doura, April 5, 2008. Parsons, a native of Wichita, Kan., conducts daily patrols and meets with local Iraqis to enhance relations with the people living in Baghdad’s Rashid district.
