Army Col. Sue Ann Sandusky, Defense Language Institute commandant, presents
Air Force Senior Airman Martin Thorson, a Russian linguist, with his diploma
for successfully completing the intense course of Russian language study
at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif., on Oct. 22, 2008. This accomplishment may
qualify him for employment with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Seven
students total graduated from the program during the ceremony, which also
