Pamela Miller, Medical Officer of the Marine Corps and Vice Chief of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery for Reserve Policy and Integration, tours Naval Branch Health Clinic Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego with Senior Nurse and Clinical Nurse Supervisor Kimberly Flinn. The visit highlighted the clinic’s role in ensuring medical readiness for more than 17,000 Marine recruits annually, directly supporting the transformation of civilians into Marines as part of Navy Medicine’s broader mission of medical force generation. Naval Medical Center San Diego employs more than 5,000 active-duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to deliver exceptional care afloat and ashore.
