A Belarusian soldier provides an honor guard as 34 airmen from the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band march in the World War II Victory Day Parade in Minsk, Belarus, May 9, 2015. The band's involvement is the first time that participants from the U.S. Department of Defense marched in the parade. The event commemorates the sacrifices of the World War II Allies and the end of hostilities 70 years ago. In addition to their participation in the Victory Day parade, which included more than 5,000 Belarusian and Russian soldiers and 250 military vehicles, the USAFE bandsmen performed concerts in Brest and Minsk.
