Gen. Gregory Guillot, left, Commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, presents a challenge coin to Operations Specialist 1st Class David Calabrese, originally from Amarillo, Texas, and assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111), during a visit to the ship at Naval Base San Diego, July 2, 2025. In addition to recognizing Sailors for their achievements, Gen. Guillot, accompanied by Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, spoke with the ship's leadership about the Southern Border mission.
