U.S. Army UH‑60 Black Hawk helicopters, assigned to the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, under Joint Task Force–Southern Border, land at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., July 1, 2025. The aircraft arrived in support of a visit from U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Winters, deputy commanding general of maneuver for Joint Task Force–Southern Border. Winters met with Marines to discuss the mission and effectiveness of their operations supporting the U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the southern border. Joint Task Force-Southern Border executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
