U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roberto Hernandez, left, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Bolt Aircraft Maintenance Unit A-Man, and Airman 1st Class Samuel Roberts, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Bolt Aircraft Maintenance Unit B-Man, marshal and prepare an F-35A Lightning II for a hot integrated combat turn (ICT) exercise at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, June 23, 2025. During Hot ICTs, crews simultaneously refuel and rearm the F-35 with new munitions while the engines are still running. This combined process significantly reduces weapons and refueling load times, allowing the F-35 to quickly move on to its next sortie. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Jennifer Nesbitt)
