NAVAL BASE KITSAP (June 11, 2025) — Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Ben Kunze, assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group Pacific Northwest, gives instructions to Warrior Challenge candidates before a base run during a Physical Screening Test (PST). The PST measures swim, run, push-up, sit-up and pull-up performance and serves as a baseline assessment for the Warrior Challenge Program, one of the Navy’s most elite enlistment tracks, offering paths to become a Navy SEAL, Navy Diver, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, Air Rescue Swimmer or Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman. Navy Talent Acquisition Group Pacific Northwest manages more than 34 enlisted and officer recruiting stations throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. The command’s mission is to recruit the next generation of warrior Sailors from the Pacific Northwest, focusing on high-quality candidates who will enhance the readiness of America’s Navy and inspire future leadership.
