U.S. Marines retrieve an Unmanned Aerial System that was shot to the ground during an aerial target engagement simulation on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 24, 2025. This simulation is part of MCB Quantico’s Counter-Unmanned Aerial System’s Counter-Drone Team, which focuses on establishing standard operating procedures for the use of kinetic defeat options for law enforcement against a drone incursion. “We have some non-kinetic capabilities on the instillation already,” Master Gunnery Sgt.
