AMISTAD, also the Spanish word for “friendship,” is an Air Forces Southern led multinational campaign of Global Health Engagements comprised of missions that deliver direct patient care in Latin American countries by joint, total force and multi-disciplinary medical teams. U.S. Air Force, Canadian Armed Forces and Salvadoran health professionals offered medical services including dental, pharmaceutical, pediatric, mental health and primary care to members of the local community during the event.
