GREAT LAKES, Ill. (June 16, 2025) – Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Michael J. Cintron from Andover, Maine, assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group New England, unfurls a flag during the division commissioning ceremony onboard U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes. Boot camp is approximately nine weeks and all enlistees into the U.S. Navy begin their career at the command. More than 40,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
