NORFOLK, Va. – (June 24, 2025) Rear Adm. Paul Lanzilotta, Commander, Carrier Strike Group 12, responds to questions during a media interview prior to the world's largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) departure from Naval Station Norfolk, June 24, for a regularly scheduled deployment. The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, comprised of nearly 4,500 Sailors, will deploy to the U.S. European Command area of responsibility.
