U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division exit a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, during an air assault exercise as part of Fuji Viper at Combined Arms Training Center Fuji, Japan, June 16, 2025. 1st Marine Aircraft Wing supported 4th Marine Regiment’s execution of Fuji Viper 25.3 by providing combat assault transport, aerial escort, aerial delivery operations and simulated close air support.
