Corey Cattano, Officer-in-Charge of Detachment Antarctica from New Providence, N.J., and Chief Petty Officer Joshua Brewer, Senior Enlisted Leader from Lampasas, Texas, attended the Joint Task Force – Support Forces Antarctica (JTF-SFA) After Action Conference where they delivered a mission update brief highlighting project progress in Antarctica. Following the presentation, outgoing JTF-SFA Commander Lt. Col. Ford (right) presented coins to recognize their exceptional leadership and outstanding contributions to the mission. NMCB-3 provides critical engineering and construction support to missions worldwide. With a legacy of excellence dating back to World War II, NMCB-3’s skilled builders and engineers continue to support scientific research in Antarctica by constructing and maintaining vital infrastructure that allows for groundbreaking studies in one of the most remote regions on the planet.
