Alpha and Charlie Batteries, 2nd Battalion, 142nd Field Artillery Brigade spent the first couple of days in the field at observation point 15, building “crew trust” with the equipment and checking for maintenance issues at Fort Chaffee, Ark., June 17, 2025.
The direct fire range gives the Paladin gun crews a clear line of sight to observe the impact of their rounds, and gives the firing batteries a chance to work together before dispersing into the surrounding training areas for indirect fire training.
