U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Ladonna T. Saunders, senior career counselor assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) receives an award from Maj. Gen. Andrew C. Gainey, commanding general, SETAF-AF for winning Best Senior Career Counselor of the Year. The awards ceremony took place during the U.S. Army 250th birthday celebration held at Caserma Del Din, Italy, June 17, 2025. The Vicenza Military Community commemorated Army Heritage Month and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army with a community event hosted by the SETAF-AF on Caserma Del Din. SETAF-AF prepares Army forces, executes crisis response, enables strategic competition, and strengthens partners to achieve U.S. Army Europe and Africa, as well as U.S. Africa Command campaign objectives.
