Jordan Jager, assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd General Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, under Joint Task Force–Southern Border assists U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in loading dirt bikes inside a CH-47 Chinook helicopter after an aerial insertion operation near Fort Huachuca, Ariz., June 15, 2025. This operation supports enhanced mobility and rapid response capabilities for ground units operating in remote terrain along the southern border. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
