250610-N-GL382-1001 MANUS, Papua New Guinea (June 10, 2025) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 (NMCB), help to guide a desalination tank between sea-piles located underneath a metal platform to prepare for demolition of the desalination tank. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for the Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
