The son of Nepalese army Maj. Suraj Lamichane wore this t-shirt with the words "My Father is a Peacekeeper" while his father was away on a peacekeeping mission. Lamichane participated as a trainer during Exercise Shanti Prayas-2 at the Birendra Peace Operations Training Center in Panchkhal, Nepal. The two-week peacekeeping training exercise is part of the Global Peace Operations Initiative, a U.S. State Department program executed in the region by facilitators from U.S. Pacific Command.
