    U.S. Naval Hospital Rota

250606-N-FT324-2751. ROTA, Spain (June 6, 2025). Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Davis Riemersma instructs EMT Basic (EMT-B) trainee, Aviation Boatswain’s Mate, Aircraft Handling 3rd Class Anthony Milla, both assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Rota, in hands-on training using a high-fidelity mannequin to practice critical life-sustaining skills such as airway management, CPR, and trauma response. Realistic simulation prepares Sailors to deliver rapid, effective care in high-pressure, real-world medical emergencies across Navy operations. At NMRTC Rota, Sailors are being trained to become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) through a rigorous and mission-driven EMT-Basic (EMT-B) certification program. (U.S. Navy photo Released by Lt.
