Capt. Sydnie Morgridge, special effects technician and critical care nurse, 7305th Medical Training Support Battalion, screams out in desperation for assistance during a mass casualty exercise conducted by Medical Readiness and Training Command, June 6, Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., as part of a training event at Global Medic and Mojave Falcon 25. While the injuries were simulated, the sense of urgency wasn't, as medics frantically sought to deliver essential first aid to patients before they were transported to the 801st Field Hospital, where they received further treatment and in some cases, surgery.
