A ground transportation specialist assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing inspects a bus at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, June 4, 2025. Previously only able to certify ground transportation specialists on buses and tractor trailers, the commercial driver's license program will now be open to any Airman across the wing whose duties would benefit from obtaining a CDL, and can be used for dump trucks, wreckers, forkligts, and numerous other vehicles.
