Retired U.S. Marine Corps Gen. David H. Berger, the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, is presented with a 3D printed Kabar knife during a tour of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group Innovation Campus as a mentor with the Defense Science Study Group on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, June 9, 2025. The visit allowed Defense Science Study Group members and 2nd Marine Logistics Group to collaborate in support of II Marine Expeditionary Force’s technological adaptation. Group members and 2nd MLG leaders discussed innovative approaches made by the innovation campus, addressing rapid technological changes, enhanced operational capabilities, and maintaining readiness through improved logistics efficiency.
