Soldiers with the 200th Engineer Company in the 153rd Engineer Battalion from the South Dakota Army National Guard conduct Wet-Gap crossing training in joint with the 1st General Support Aviation Battalion, 171st Aviation Regiment with the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade, Minnesota Army National Guard, across the Mississippi River at Camp Ripley Training Center near Little Falls, Minnesota on June 9th, 2025. Pieces to the floating bridge were sling-loaded by Aviators flying CH-47 Chinook helicopters and dropped in the Mississippi River, where the engineers assaulted and cleared the area before piecing together the pieces using Bridge Erection Boats (Minnesota National Guard Photo by Army Staff Sgt.
