The 192nd Wing, Virginia Air National Guard’s 192nd Mission Support Group, hosts its first change of command ceremony June 7, 2025, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. Maj. Bakari S. Prioleau became the new commander, succeeding Lt. Col. Alex J. Shamp, who led the unit as the 192nd Support Squadron since July 2022. Earlier that day, the 192nd MSG underwent restructuring, retiring the 192nd SS and forming the 192nd FSS, the 192nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, the 192nd Civil Engineering Flight, and the 192nd Communications Flight.
