A recently removed bolt lies on the ground after extraction within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, May 26, 2025. During the overhaul, operators drilled more than a foot deep into the concrete arresting system bed to remove over 30 bolts, ensuring the system could be safely disassembled and rebuilt.
