U.S. Air Force firefighters assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron load a simulated patient onto a gurney during a mass casualty exercise within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, June 3, 2025. Personnel during mass casualty events are able to work on immediate communication and response while identifying any strengths and weaknesses in trauma skills, communication, transportation, and casualty management.
